It’s summer summer time…for Social Media Summer Club!

Here’s a question for you: when did you last take the time to invest in your CPD and/or in growing your business? If the answer’s ‘Not recently,’ and you’re struggling to boost your online presence, my new Social Media Summer Club could be the answer you’re looking for.

With many of us giving summer holidays a miss this year, quite a few of my clients are telling me that July and August – when business is often quieter for many of us – are the perfect time to invest in some training and development.

Starting on Monday 26th July, the Social Media Summer Club is a six week online course run via a private Facebook Group. It’s specially designed for business owners and professionals who already have social media profiles, but aren’t making the most of them or are finding it challenging to get the results they want. Does this sound like you? Then read on to find out more!

Since launching the idea of the Social Media Summer Club in my last blog, I’ve been delighted by the response. All the Early Bird places were snapped up straightaway and I already have around 20 delegates on the course. However, there’s still room for more – and I have 3 places available at a special price of £127 if you book by Friday 9th July. Once these places are gone, the price will revert to £197, so get your skates on if you’re interested in booking!

So what can you expect from the Social Media Summer Club?

As I’ve mentioned before, I’m on a one-woman mission to demystify social media. There’s a lot of smoke and mirrors around, with many people thinking it’s much more complicated than it really is to build an effective social media presence.

In the Social Media Summer Club, we’ll be focusing on ‘Fact, not fluff’ and taking a straightforward look at the six key areas you need to know about. One of the topics will be covered over each week of the course. These are:

  1. Strategy – How to build a robust plan for your social media activities.
  2. Profile optimisation – Guiding you through creating great social media profiles on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
  3. Content creation – Engaging your audience with high quality, interesting content.
  4. Visuals – Imagery is everything online, so I’ll show you how to use Canva, a fabulous design tool.
  5. Building your audience – How to develop your network and reel in the right people.
  6. Conversion – A plan for turn prospects and observers into paying customers.

I’ve found from experience that people learn better in bite sized chunks rather than long training sessions or workshops, so that’s the approach we’ll be taking during the six weeks. I’ll be offering a variety of teaching methods, including one hour of online training videos each week, covering the six topics set out above, and fortnightly live check-in sessions, where we’ll discuss the various tasks set during the previous modules. During these sessions, you can also ask any questions you might have and ask for clarification about anything that’s puzzling you in particular. Or, you can simply sit in and listen.

As an added bonus, you’ll have the chance to book one to one coaching sessions with me at an exclusive rate for Social Media Summer Club members. These are the ideal way to take a deep dive into any topics or areas where you’re looking for additional detail or support. My knowledge and expertise are here to help you – so use them!

Finally, at the end of the course, you’ll have the option to continue your learning with my 12 month in-depth programme, Social Media for Grown-Ups. More about this in my next blog!

Book now to snap my last remaining places

As mentioned above, I still some have some places available at the discounted rate of £127 if you book on the Social Media Summer Club by Friday 9th July. After that, you’re very welcome to book a place at the standard rate of £197, which still represents great value for money for six weeks of training.

If you can’t make the Summer Social Media Club (you might be lucky enough to actually be going on holiday!), don’t worry as I’ll be re-running the course later this year. And in the meantime, you can of course explore my other services at my website.

To book a place on the Social Media Summer Club, please drop me a line at hello@curetonconsulting.co.uk or contact me via my website. See you there for some summer learning fun!
