I’m super excited as in the last week I’ve just launched not one but TWO brand new social media clubs! (I might be mad to start both at the same time, but that’s by the by…) Let me introduce The Social Media Club and The Accountability Club: two new ventures aimed at women in business, but each with different aims, investments and structures.
Before we dive into the detail, here’s the rationale behind these new clubs. As you may know, I’ve been running membership programmes for about eight years now, under various names and formats. As time went by, I realised my clients have two distinct requirements: social media training and social media accountability. This club isn’t about training. It’s designed for people who know what they’re doing on social media, but lack the time, structure and accountability to post consistently, stay visible online and move forward. Like The Social Media Club, it’s a friendly online community, but one that focuses on support and encouragement rather than knowledge and skills. So, if you’re struggling to go it alone with social, The Accountability Club is for you.
Here’s how it works:
- A monthly co-working and planning session. We all jump on Zoom together and spend an hour working on your social media. That could be creating content, scheduling posts, updating your profiles or analysing results. I’ll be on hand to provide ideas and feedback, and give you a confidence boost. There’ll be no actual training; this is your time to stop putting social media off and get things done!
- Monthly accountability. Every month, you’ll work with me to set yourself a simple goal for your social media activities, whether you’re using Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn. Then you’ll come back and we’ll celebrate your wins before planning what you want to do next. Small, consistent actions add up to big results over time. And when someone’s expecting you to show up online, it’s much more likely to happen!
