FREE webinar for women in business, Monday 21 September 2026 at 12 noon
OK ladies, it’s time to address the elephant in the room. You feel like you’re doing everything right online. You’re posting content on the right social media platforms. You’re getting engagement from fans and followers (great!). But…the million dollar question is: ‘What do you do next?’ to get those all-important enquiries, leads and sales?
Looking at the feedback I’m getting from clients and from my own online following, ‘What happens next?’ is your biggest concern right now. And that’s what my free 1 hour webinar is all about. Catchily (!) titled: ‘The truth about social media, what really works in 2026,’ it’s designed to do what it says on the tin. No fluff, just facts. And tips that actually work.
Why it’s time for the truth
Why am I running a free webinar and why at this time of year? It all started on a recent holiday – an epic road trip with a rather dramatic end that’s a tale for another day – which gave the chance to crystallise my thoughts around social media training whilst away from the daily grind.
As for the time of year, many of my clients have school age children, so what better time to refocus on the business once the holiday pandemonium has finally died down? (Plus, we’ll soon be starting the run-up to the dreaded ‘C’ word, so it’s the perfect time to start planning and put your seasonal promotions in place.)
The result of this crystallisation process, helped along by a glass or three of Prosecco and some stunning scenery, was this: so many women in business are struggling with social media but don’t understand where or why they’re going wrong. They’re also crazy busy trying to run their companies, and may not have the time or resources to commit to a lengthy training course.
So, I thought, I’ll offer something quick and handy to help them make simple changes and start getting the results they want. And The Truth About Social Media was born!
What we’ll cover in the 1 hour webinar
What will The Truth About Social Media teach you? Here’s a snapshot:
- The key reasons why you’re finding it hard to get results online.
- Lots of tips and advice on how to fix that and move things forward.
- Tools that make sure YOU own social media and the time you spend on it, not the other way round.
After the session, and provided you’ve attended in person, you’ll have limited time access to the webinar recording so you can revisit what you’ve learned and make sure you didn’t miss anything.
Why I fully understand online overwhelm
As a female business owner of a certain age (ahem), I didn’t grow up with the Internet like today’s younger generations. Being a Digital Adopter rather than a Digital Native can be problematic. Whether you’re a Baby Boomer, Generation X, or older Millennial, you may find yourself overwhelmed by our increasingly digital world and the growing emphasis on social media marketing.
You might not always make time for promoting your business online – and I bet some of you still think ‘marketing’ is a dirty word! (Sadly, the marketing budget is still usually the first thing to go when things get tough financially.) My overall business aim, and my goal for The Truth About Social Media, is to start changing that mindset by showing you what really works online in 2026, and how to make it happen.
A new beginning – and a new Social Media Club
Monday 21 September also marks the launch of the Social Media Club, a new and highly flexible membership structure that’ll help you keep developing your social media skills and keep up with the everchanging online landscape. The finer details are under wraps right now, but sign up for the webinar and all will be revealed.
And as if that’s not enough, you could win a prize!
Another incentive to sign up for the webinar is that one lucky attendee will win a prize worth £100. So, book your place today, find out where you’re going wrong and – best of all – find out how to fix it. I’ll look forward to meeting you on 21 September at 12 noon.
