How was Q1 2026 for you? And what’s your plan for Q2?

MGP 3722

Well, the first quarter of 2026 has certainly flown by! Things were very hectic for me and, as I’m expecting a few slightly quieter days at the start of Q2, I’ll be taking a moment to reflect on how things have gone over the last three months and planning my social media activities for the next quarter. I’ll also be working with my clients and social media community members to do the same – and I encourage you to jump on the bandwagon, too!

Review and plan ahead

Here’s a quick couple of things you can do to get started:

  • Check your numbers and use the data to inform your planning for quarter two. Facebook and Instagram in particular have excellent analytics, which you can use to create snapshots on what’s worked well and less well on your accounts in quarter one. Hopefully, everything’s gone swimmingly, but if not, these reports will help you change or pivot your focus so you get back on the right track.
  • Update your profiles to make sure these are a genuine reflection of where you are right now. (I’m a bit of a builder’s daughter when it comes to this one – everyone else’s profiles get sorted, whilst mine sometimes fall by the wayside!) On LinkedIn, make sure your intro paragraph (the bit that sits right underneath your photo), focuses on who you help and how, as well as briefly explaining what you do. Update your About, Services, Education, Experience, Skills and Interests sections as needed.

What are my own plans for Q2?

My first big piece of news is that I’ve updated my Social Media Success for Trainers web page, using a new platform that’s being specially hosted for me. The new page clearly explains how you can stop winging it on social media and start consistently attracting the clients you want to work with. For just £49 a month, you’ll receive practical training and support on getting the best for your business from Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook. Why not take a look and find out more about the training, how it works and how you’ll benefit?

Secondly, I’ll be running a FREE online workshop on Monday 13th April at 12 noon, again aimed at trainers and coaches who aren’t getting what they want out of social media. During the one hour session, we’ll look at the latest developments in the social media landscape, what’s working and what’s not working, so you can start conversations with and generate enquiries from your target audience. To find out more and book your free place, please visit this page.

That’s just the tip of the iceberg of what I’m planning to deliver in quarter two and throughout the rest of 2026, so watch this space to find out what I’ll be up to next! And don’t forget, if you’re a trainer or coach who’s struggling with social media, get in touch to book a free, no obligation call to talk about what you need and how I can help. Or, explore my website to find out more about me and all the services and resources I have to offer.

See you next month!
